I’d be around when you need a woman
who would give you love and all the comfort
who would sit always by your side to talk,
to recall the good times then laugh and cry,
and to be silent in the midst of angst.

I’d be around when you need a mistress
who would bring you to the heights of glory
who would dampen your lips with sweet kisses,
then mold your body into mine, reeling,
dazed by the loveliness of the union.

I’d be around when you need a friend
who would listen to your aches and grumbles
who would laugh loud at your jests and banters
all because I am a number one fan
of your humor – ah! so spontaneous!

Id’ be around when you need nothing
who would be with you while you are content
who would stare at you without a sound
with all the blessings, with all the delights
and keep a smile, with a thought in mind
that I would need no one - but only YOU….
